Got this sad news from dewline about the "Dog River" grain elevator (with which you would be familiar if you are into the C6D TV show "Corner Gas").

Fire destroys iconic grain elevator from "Corner Gas."

Thank goodness no one was hurt.

This put me in mind of something that happened when I lived in Iowa (way back when). Google "Robin Hood flour explosion." It was caused by a stray spark igniting flour dust. Who knew grain was so dangerous?

So yeah, I did a search on "Robin Hood Flour Explosion"...and then I also ended up reading about how there have been hundreds and hundreds of "grain explosions" all around the country for years and years. *smh*
