Fannish 50 Challenge 2024: Post # 26: A Ficathon Goes Into A Bar

I just signed up for the annual A Ficathon Goes Into A Bar (often simply referred to as "intoabar").


Here's how it works: At the sign-up post you name your main character and the fandom, and you name up to six fandoms not related to that one in which you are comfortable creating a fanwork. Then the ficathon mods will assign you a character from one of those other fandoms to meet your character in a bar. You then produce a fanwork from that prompt.

Will I be seeing any of you at the bar?

Oh, the random character! Crossovers and fusions are A+, I have no fear of those :)

Yeah, I've had some times where my Muse just would not come across with how to get that secondary character to meet up with my primary character, but I'm always game to at least sign up and get the prompt and see what might happen. Since it's not an exchange-type ficathon and there's no penalties for not completing the fic, it's a low-stress situation for me the times I can't get the fic to happen.
