Both creators requested that I choose local-to-me organizations, so I used the article 20 Black-Led Chicago Groups You Can Donate to Now to Make a Difference in Black Lives as my reference and I chose My Block My Hood My City multigenerational programs and assistances in the inner city, Brave Space Alliance Chicago's first Black-led Trans-led LGBTQ Center, and
Circles and Ciphers restorative justice organization led by and for young people who have been impacted by violence.
