I've got a "milestone" birthday coming up and I bought myself a birthday gift of something I've wanted for a long time: the complete Red Green DVD collection -- yep, all 300 episodes! And amedia made a whole bunch of Red Green icons for me (one of which you see here).

Happy Early Birthday!! I used to watch Red Green all the time when it was on PBS here. "Any tool can be the right tool" and (the much more obscure) "The first thing you gotta do is great rid of your stove" are quoted often in my house.

I never saw Red Green in its entirety either -- saw lots of episodes, but not all of them -- and now I'm going to be watching all of them and in order.

That's awesome! I need to watch more RG. I saw some eps on PBS before dS' first run, then I saw more during and after seeing dS' run (esp the PG eps), and I've watched several more, since - but never all of them, all in a row, in the right order. I didn't even know there were over 300 episodes. You'd think it would be much more frequently shown on streaming and OTA TV channels, since that amount of episodes is a syndication station dream, I would think. I bet it's available streaming somewhere... *goes off to hunt for it*

Oh, cool. Did not know that. Currently watching Republic of Doyle all the way through for the first time. PG has oinly been in a couple of eps so far and I'm in the beginning of S5. When I'm not working on my dSBB complementary, of course.

I only watched a very little bit of Republic of Doyle. Maybe will eventually watch more, but there's other C6D higher on my list.
