Following Bast's death, her publishing partner Joyce, along with Bast's family, have come to the decision to close the beloved zine publication business of Requiem Publications. The last day to order zines and ezines through the Requiem Publications website is the last day of this month, April 30th.

More times recently than I want to count, I think of when Benton's father said to him "Oh, Son, nothing is permanent."

I completely understand their decision but it will leave such a big hole in fandom. I am so sorry to hear this.

I was rather expecting this about Requiem now, but the prior expectation did nothing to ward off the sadness.
