Following Bast's death, her publishing partner Joyce, along with Bast's family, have come to the decision to close the beloved zine publication business of Requiem Publications. The last day to order zines and ezines through the Requiem Publications website is the last day of this month, April 30th.

Bast and Joyce of Requiem Publications have sent out a reminder that the submissions deadline for the sixth issue of the multifandom slash zine "It's Raining Men" is October 16th.
