Date: 2022-04-11 11:23 pm (UTC)Yes, it's Greek Easter. And I work the weekend before, Friday through Monday. I wouldn't be able to attend if we did it then.
When I was a kid we usually celebrated both Easters. Some kind of roast bird or beef for the one, and of course roast LAMB for Greek Easter. Once we cooked an entire lamb on a spit in our backyard. (Only once, though -- it took SO LONG to cook. We kids took turns turning it on the spit, it took so long. I think my mom was like, We're doing this in the OVEN from now on, with PREDICTABLE roasting times!)
Thanks for the info. 48 hours I can probably do. If not, I guess I'll try for the next Fire Whiskey round.
