I find having a specific goal really helps motivate me to finish it before I go after another one.

TYK for the encouragement! Even more than setting it in my mind as a personal goal, at this point what's a help to me is the connection with fen like you who help me to bring the goal out from being a goal that's in isolation.

One of the best things about fandom is the community. People who love the same thing come together to make connections. It's not just about the stories and the shows, but the people who love to share that love.

So true! Even though dSC6D is my primary and forever fandom, this many years into fandom I sometimes say "fandom is my fandom".
