Happy Canada Day to dSC6D fen and Canadian fen in general!
verushka70 and I celebrated Canada Day with a dinner at my house. I decorated my dining-room table with a maple-leaves centerpiece and some of my due South collectibles. I made dinner and "Vee" (as I call verushka70) brought a case of Moosehead Beer.

It looks like Richard Oland had already been ousted from the company, so maybe that helped them distance themselves from it. But it was the start of a mini-trend of billionaire murders (well, I guess there were two others that I can think of) that had people talking about how much they dislike notable wealthy families. So I assumed some of that backlash might affect Moosehead, but maybe the beer is too good!
The Canadian True Crime podcast has a few very good episodes about it that go into way more depth:

Date: 2023-07-02 10:10 pm (UTC)I've been impressed with the true crime podcasts from CBC, although after a while the voice of David Ridgens starts to get on my nerves. But I'm always willing to expand my true crime horizons!
