Not necessarily. I mentioned Heritage Day in Alberta because I know some fen there, but August 3rd is also celebrated as New Brunswick Day in New Brunswick, Natal Day in Nova Scotia, Provincial Day in a number of other regions, aaaaaaannnnnnddddd British Columbia Day in British Columbia. So, you see, you must have been heading for the BC celebration!
