Donnelly Rhodes was best known by my C6D friends for his roles in Battlestar Galactica and Da Vinci's Inquest -- and he made his professional debut on stage at the Stratford Theatre as Stanley Kowalski in Streetcar Named Desire (which should get a reaction from my dS friends...and TYK to
verushka70 for pointing that out to me).

Date: 2018-01-25 01:02 am (UTC)I really liked his character, Leo, on DVI. Leo was a cynical, cranky old cop, but he kept learning with Mick. And the situation with his wife was heartbreaking. Then later he becomes very useful as unofficial investigator of corruption for Da Vinci. Sigh. The Toronto Star article online didn't say what cancer he had, just that he was in hospice when he died.
