I'm glad to see this posted to dreamwidth to advertise it. ♥ I was just thinking--did the idea for a pandemic come before or after covid? It's not important, I'm just curious. I still like this fic a lot.

To answer your "did this idea come before or after Covid" question: this fic goes back to a plotbunny I had in the summer of 2012, so yeah, the fic idea for a pandemic that caused a border closing between the U.S. and Canada was an idea that preceded Covid by EIGHT YEARS...and I certainly never imagined that there actually would come a day IRL when that border would be closed due to a pandemic.
