Every time I start trying to post something about RBG I get overwhelmed...to lose her at this point in history, and to lose her on Rosh Hashanah, and to lose her at all....but I cannot let these moments pass without speaking in her honor and to her memory:
זכר צדיקה לברכה
Zekher tzadika livrakha
May the memory of her righteousness be a blessing
יהי זכרה מהפכה
Yehi zichra mahapecha
May her memory be a revolution

Date: 2020-09-23 03:00 am (UTC)I'm busy designing my RBG tattoo. Yeah, I know, Jews and tattoos. Child and I already have matching tats, something very meaningful to both of us. We're planning this one together, too. We're thinking "I dissent," with her initials and ZT"L beneath.

(Yeah, Jews and tattoos. If my mom had lived to see me in fandom, with both my arms covered in due South related tattoos, she would have had some choice things to say in Yiddish about that, and it would not have been complimentary.)
