Of the many Bowie tributes I've seen since he died -- and the many I've avoided because I kind of just couldn't take it -- this is the one that made me really cry. And then Alan Rickman... I wasn't into Alan Rickman's Harry Potter character (I have never seen a Harry Potter movie all the way through), but he was in a lot of movies I loved, like the Ang Lee Sense and Sensibility with Emma Thompson and Kate Winslet... plus he was a great Villain in Robin Hood. And then Glen Frey of the Eagles died shortly thereafter... It's been a really depressing month in terms of musician and actor deaths. Sigh.

So much death or dying this month, some in RL too. I just keep bolstering myself by telling myself that Albert Camus line: "In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer".

That's a great line. Haven't read Camus in eons but it's very fitting.
