That's the link, yes! Looked and couldn't absorb all the stuff about variables and footers...well, it's 4:00 AM and I've been pulling an all-nighter trying to get caught up on pre-dSSS fannish stuff before the Monday sign-up for dSSS...so I'll look at the DW crossposting again tomorrow when my brain isn't this near 'sploding.

You don't need to touch the settings for the footer, so all you actually have to do is click "add new account", add your LJ account, and then make sure "cross-post by default" and "display cross-post link" are marked. That's pretty much it!

Not at the moment, alas. My son's been really wanting to get back to Virginia so we're gearing up to do that in the summer, hopefully.

Hmmm...what's your son's connection with Virginia? A repeat of a previous family vacation, or something else?

Oh, I'm from Virginia and all my family is there - my sister just had a baby, in fact. The last time we were out there was 2008, so it'll be time again. :D
