The best times -- because they avoid the time-pressure of being "between vids" -- are a Thursday dinner a couple hours before registration or a Sunday dinner. What are your arrival and departure times? (We'll figure something else out if the Thursday or Sunday dinners don't work for you.)

My arrival is 9-ish on Friday morning and I think I need to be at the airport by 5:27 pm on Sunday for the flight home.

Hmmm...so Thursday and Sunday dinner are out. Want to come hang out for snacks and drinks in my room with my roomie (verushka70) and me -- and maybe some other fen -- after Premieres on Friday night?

Weird times, but not that many nonstop flights to choose from--so I went for maximum time on the ground!

It's still going to be morning when you get to the hotel, right? Maybe I could get there by "lunch-time," but if not lunch we can do an early dinner together.

Wow! I don't know how long it will take to get off the plane and find the hotel shuttle--but good Lord willin' and the crick don't rise, I should indeed be there in time for lunch!

I don't want to make you rush, but lunch and/or dinner Thursday would be awesome!!!

ION: Look at this vid review written by amedia for the recent Con.Txt vidshow. Your "Might Lead to Mixed Dancing" (reviewed at 1.12 on the list) was shown to such acclaim that fen wanted to watch it twice.

I'm definitely going to want to borrow a chair or two from your room, at least. If you could get some paper plates and napkins, too, that'd be great.

And aww, that's lovely to hear about the response. This is the first year that vidshow programmers have been playing my vids at cons- Warning: Might Lead to Mixed Dancing played at Bitchin' Party and Vidukon as well as at Con.Txt. It's nice for the ego. :)

Maybe a Thursday dinner? I'm currently waiting on a fangirl getting back to me about whether there's going to be a group going for dinner or whether to consider the pizza social to be dinner.

Either way, my roomie (verushka70) and I are open to having some drinks (I'll be bringing a Merlot and a Pinot Grigio) and watching some vids in your room or ours after the pizza social.
