Well, as anyone can see, I didn't get any late-posted fic up before today's Firewhiskey Fic Challenge. And as many can't see unless you are in the FWF comm, here's what happened: my laptop was in the repair shop all week because I was having crash dumps and artifacts. I was so worried about not getting it back in time for FWF, but I got it back yesterday, so I thought all was cool. Then when I got it home I discovered that the repair tech had only done a partial job and that there was still something wrong with it so I took it back today and hung around the vicinity of the repair place for many hours, dreading the thought that if they didn't get it right I would be losing over a decade of fannish stuff, vids and docs and fanart. Now I gotta say THANK FUCK it's all fixed with everything saved and the laptop functioning.
