Not dead, just slow to answer.

1) Most interesting or fun vacation would be anything fandom-related, starting with my first fancon (Bitchin' Party in 2012) and my first visit to a fan-friend's home (England, to visit bghost).
2) Cake or pie would depend on what kind of cake or pie, but I do prefer moist baked goods over drier baked goods.
3) My ideal party outfit would be a purple or mostly-purple salwar kameez with purple velvet ballet flats and accessorized with multiple earrings.
4) I fell into fandom via a rec to watch "Slings & Arrows" which led to watching "due South" which led to doing an Internet search on the phrase "the Hand of Franklin" (by which I meant Sir John Franklin of the failed Franklin Expedition...but the first Net hit I got was for a due South slash fic about the hand of Sam Franklin and THAT is what led me to fandom community).

And now here are interview questions for YOU:
1) What was the first fancon you attended and what did you think of that experience?
2) If you were going to read a novel and your choices were either fantasy or science fiction, would you choose fantasy or would you choose science fiction?
3) What is your favorite type of donut?

I came to be near the lake they call Michigan because I was born in Chicago.

My first posted fanwork -- written for the 2011 due South Seekrit Santa -- was the Fraser/Kowalski poem They Dream of Dancing. The first fanwork I ever created -- but not posted until 2012 -- was the gen due South fic When the Ice Cracks and You Fall Through .

I <3 crossovers! Love to read 'em, love to write 'em.

1. What song would you use as a 3 AM wake up alarm?

2. When do you prefer to do most of your fic reading?

1) The only song I have on my phone as a wake-up alarm is the theme song from due South...but I can't imagine setting a 3 AM wake-up alarm since 3 AM is about the time I usually go to bed.
2) I prefer to do most of my fic reading late at night after my spouse has gone to sleep or else in the morning or afternoon before my spouse wakes up...I don't like there to be any distractions when I'm reading fic.
3) I drink coffees, teas, and tisanes several times a day every day.
4) The junk drawer in my house is in the kitchen...but there are other junk places in my house.
5) If by fandom celebrity you mean celebrities in my fandoms, I don't have an answer for this...but if you just mean any celebrity, then my answer is "Mel Gibson".

1) Wow, you do go to bed late (ah, early?) I myself barely make it midnight. But the due south theme must be a great alarm to have. You get to start your day with a Soundtrack!
2) Same. I read fic before bed and in the quiet times in the day- it makes it nice to sink into the story.
3) Me too! Go us. *virtual hi five*
4) You have multiple junk places? I need to level up!
5) Mel Gibson would be a horrible one, for sure.
